Good morning stampers! Did you spend your weekend drooling over the new 2018-2019 Annual Catalogue? I did, and I’ve had it for six weeks already! The key is that I can now order things I couldn’t before. Tough choices have to be made. One item that I am adding to my order is another Stamparatus, because we’re going to need them for this month’s technique class. Everyone needs to learn how to use a Stamparatus. YOU need to learn how to use a Stamparatus, because it is a phenomenal stamping tool.
The first class that I must mention is the Summer Shadowbox Sampler class which is taking place… tomorrow! I’m extremely late in posting this, because all of my energy went into the Open House. The sampler we are stamping is below. It is not my original creation, but because there are a few versions of it on Pinterest, I’m not sure who the creator is. Regardless, as soon as I saw it I know that it was perfect for this class. I just needed to re-dimension it because the others are all in 12×12 frames, and my Ikea frames are 9×9. I like this size better because they don’t overwhelm a space, and the frame is deep enough that it can sit on a shelf instead of being hung on a wall.
Class details:
- Tuesday, June 5th at 10am OR 7pm
- Class Fee: $20 – please bring adhesive
- Spots available in AM session: 6 (I will only run the class if we get two interested attendees)
- Spots available in PM session: 2
We are not using the Stamparatus on the shadowbox, but we are using the tool on the card below! The original version was demonstrated at OnStage by Betsy Rouw, and I REALLY like the look and simplicity of it. However, without a Stamparatus, it would be nasty to try and line up. It is one of the cards we’re creating at the Stamparatus classes on Tuesday, June 19th.
