Good morning stampers! We’re almost at the end of Merry Moose Week, but I still have 2 projects to post. Today’s card is a bit more difficult than yesterday’s, but I would still classify this as a casual crafter card. Let’s take a look.
The card looks more difficult to create than it actually is. I do have a couple of hints/instructions to make it easier for you.
First… I have used both of the trees from the Merry Moose stamp set on the card. Each were inked and double-stamped before reinking. This gives you the illusion of depth without having to pull out multiple colours of ink.
Here’s my tip for the trees at the edge of the cardstock. Stamp the full strength ink on the card, and then move it closer to the edge for the second stamp. If you stamp the first tree off the edge and then move it towards the centre, you’ll have a very lovely (not!) line of ink on your card. You DO NOT want this.
Second… stamp your moose with Soft Suede ink. However, after you ink your stamp, stamp it off once on scrap paper, and then onto your cardstock. Stamp the outline using full strength Soft Suede ink. Don’t forget to add his hoof prints in the snow!
Punch your sentiment with the Banner Triple punch, add make sure that you stamp and fussy cut his lovely scarf. He doesn’t want to get cold in our Canadian winters.
The full supply list for this card can be found below. Order any stamping supplies that you need for this project by clicking on the links. You can also go directly to my Online Store. If you order is over $25, add the October Host Code (G6PPA7WU) to receive a free Tutorial Bundle at the end of the month. Come back tomorrow to see the last Moose Week project. Normally I don’t post on Saturdays (except for Stampin’ Up! videos), but this is a cute one. You won’t want to miss it. Happy stamping!
