The Merry Christmas to All Bundle is going to be very popular this holiday season. I have stamped a number of cards already that will be on display during my Fall Open House this Saturday, September 22nd (RSVP here). Today’s card was given to me on the weekend by Colleen Weddell, one of my Team Flamingo stampers. She created a set of these for a card swap, and I love the layout.
There are 28 stamps in the photopolymer stamp set, with a mix of classic and old-fashioned fonts. I love how Stampin’ Up! gave us individual holiday stamps that can be mixed/matched depending on the card. You don’t need to use Stampin’ Write markers on these, nor do you have to ink up only part of a stamp on the edge of an ink pad. So easy to use!
The font on the Merry Christmas Thinlits is the same as the script on the stamps. If you like to match fonts, it’s easy to get the look that you want.
Don’t you love the embossing on this card? We have a new Corrugated Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder that I just LOVE! It gives you a really deep impression on your cardstock, which does look like corrugated paper. *Tip* Cut your cardstock a bit larger on the width and cut it to size after it has been embossed. Embossing with this folder will shrink your paper!
My absolute favourite Designer Series Paper from the Holiday Catalogue is the Festive Farmhouse DSP. I’ve mentioned before that I’m always a sucker for plaid, and I REALLY like the colour combination that Stampin’ Up! used in this year’s paper. Cherry Cobbler, Mossy Meadow, and Very Vanilla work really well together. The full supply list for Colleen’s card can be found at the bottom of the post.
