Hi Stampers! Today I’m sharing a Make & Take card from this past weekend’s Open House. It was a popular card, and Making Christmas Bright is a popular stamp set this fall. Use it with the coordinating Christmas Bulb Builder Punch to make fast and easy holiday cards. Have a look!
This card has been CASE’d from one posted by Peggy Noe. I really love the simplicity of it, because all you need is Whisper White cardstock and five colours of ink. On this card, I have used 3 of the 2018-2020 In Colours – Lovely Lipstick, Call Me Clover, and Pineapple Punch. You can use any colours on your light bulbs. I like this combination because they are really bright.
The base of the bulb (aka that part of the bulb that goes into the socket) has been stamped in Gray Granite. However, at my Open House, there were strips of Silver Foil Sheets on the table. The ladies could punch the bases and glue them to their bulbs. Adding Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back of bulbs makes them very easy to line-up and attach to the card.
*Hint* We will have a Making Christmas Bright lightbulb card at our Stamp Your Holiday event on November 3rd. The bases will be punched from the Galvanized Metallic Paper, and I have to say that they’re going to look sharp!!!
One note about the sentiments in this stamp set… they really match the images, and Stampin’ Up! designed the stamps so that the “May Your Christmas be” and “Bright” stamps are separate. SO easy to stamp these in different colours, and mass produce Christmas cards. Very thoughtful of our artists to design the set this way. Here’s the full line-up of stamps as well as the punch:
You can find the full supply list at the bottom of the post. The stamps and punch can be purchased separately, or as part of a bundle. Purchase the bundle and save 10%.
*Tip* Always look to see if stamps and coordinating tools can be purchased as a bundle to save 10%. One of my clients at the Open House didn’t realize that there was a bundle available, and almost paid full price for both! Good thing we caught this when we reviewed her order.
Be sure to add the September Host Code (CZ2SQAX4) to your Online Order, and receive a link to 15 Exclusive Project Helper Guides at the end of the month. If your order is $200+, choose the Stampin’ Rewards and receive the link as well as the rewards.
