Good Morning stampers! I’m sharing the last of my Sale-a-Bration cards today. It’s bittersweet because I always love this time of year. Stampin’ Up! always has great products for us during this promotion, and 2019 was no exception. Today’s project is a Lasting Lily sympathy card, stamped in Blackberry Bliss. Let’s have a look at it.
The combination of Blackberry Bliss ink and cardstock create quite an impact on this card. It’s subdued, but vibrant all at the same time. My Blackberry Bliss inkpad is also on the dry side, which allowed me to stamp very details images.
Each of the blooms was fussy cut, and not die cut. The dies weren’t available when I made this card, but I don’t feel like I am missing out because they were very easy to cut. The stems were stamped directly onto the cardstock.
There is a bit more going on than you first realize. The panel behind the white cardstock has been embossed with the Basket Weave Dynamic Textured Embossing Folder. In addition, the sentiment was stamped onto Crumb Cake cardstock and die cut with one of the Rectangle Stitched Dies.
Before attaching the sentiment with Stampin’ Dimensionals, I added a bit of Linen Thread behind the panel. It’s a lovely final touch to the card.
