I’m cleaning up…

Hi all! This spring/summer has been a long haul, but I’m finally getting back to some of the things that I love. If you popped by my Facebook page yesterday, you saw a couple of these photos there. What are they you ask? Scroll down…

That one above? It’s what my stamping studio looked like on Sunday night. You couldn’t really walk in there. Outside of sewing and ironing, you couldn’t actually do anything in there.

This side doesn’t seem so bad. It’s the piece of my family room that is adjacent to the door of my studio. What you can’t really see is the two tables that are leaning, and pushing over, the bar stools. Behind them are boxes of retired project. You can see more boxes in the photo above. I really need to try and sell some of it off. It’s taking up valuable real estate.

This is why things were such a disaster. I have sewn over 300 masks since the middle of May, and have finally put my machine away. For now. If I find the right patterns, I might make a few Hallowe’en and Christmas masks. Or, I might not.

Finally, what you see above was sitting in two boxes on the floor of my studio, and had been there for weeks. (Another package with stamps/dies arrived the day after the photo was taken.) I have now catalogued and stashed everything away except for the stamps/dies/punches/DSP. I have been challenged to make something new by Sunday, and I’m going to do it!!!

The studio cleaning isn’t finished, but I’m going to try and get that space back in order tonight. It feels good to start to regain control over something, because it feels like everything has been out of control for weeks!!!

Stay tuned… and Happy Stamping.

    • Hi Kym – it’s good to hear from you. My website updates won’t be as regular as before, but we’re definitely back in business. Happy Thanksgiving!
