It’s Card Swap Thursday, and today I have a pretty Good Morning Magnolia Notecard to share with you.
This card was created by Colleen Weddell, and she opted to use one of our premade notecards & envelopes. They are smaller than our regularly sized cards, but work well with the single magnolia bloom.
It is a quick card to make, because you’re stamping and die cutting the bloom, and adding a bit of stamping underneath for the sentiment and background.
The most difficult part is colouring the flower with our Stampin’ Blends. Colleen struggles with this, and was pleased with the end result. Personally, I don’t think she gives herself enough credit. Her colouring is spot on. Here’s a closer look.
Adding a bit of the Mossy Meadow Linen Thread to the left side of the card adds balance, and nicely finishes it off. The thread can be found in the Magnolia Lane Ribbon Combo Pack.
