Flirty Flamingo Amazing Silhouettes Thank You Card

Happy Wednesday! Today’s project is a Flirty Flamingo thank you card, created with the Amazing Silhouettes Bundle. It has a wonderful gold tinge to it, which looks fabulous in the sunshine. This is the first of today’s posts, because the 2021-2022 Annual Catalogue Retiring List is being released today at 5pm EDT. I’ll post the link to the list as soon as it’s available, and after I get home from driving kid #3 to work. Let’s have a look at our card first.

Every once in awhile I run up against a card that just doesn’t want to be photographed while laying flat on the table. I find that it’s because I have used thick cardstock, which is wonderful for the card recipient because it sits nicely on a table. The colour scheme on this card is simple: Basic White, Flirty Flamingo, and Gold. It came together because there are gold threads throughout the Flirty Flamingo Gold Metallic Ribbon.

Once I had a colour scheme, I just went with it. The image is in the Amazing Silhouettes stamp set, and stamping it in Flirty Flamingo was a no brainer. The gold/flamingo ‘thanks’ die cuts look great on the card, and I was happy to use one of the embossing folders in the Strips & Splatters 3D Embossing Folders set.

Once everything was on the card, I added three of the Gilded Gems in the corners. Gold is not generally my colour, because I love and will always choose silver, but this card works.
