Last week I confessed my weakness with watercolouring. This week I have a different type of watercolouring to showcase. While the design of this Pop of Paradise card is CASE’d from last week’s layout, the creation of it is different.
Embossing the flamingo using Clear Embossing Powder first, allowed me to create a crisp Big Pink Bird, with details that you don’t normally see if it’s fully watercoloured. Three different colours of ink were used with an Aquapainter, and the colour easily wipes off the embossed flamingo, allowing you to see where the ink seeped into the paper on its feathers. Love it!
