Fish Fridays: A Seaside Shore Shaker

*originally posted on 9/30/16*

Today’s edition of Fish Fridays (because I don’t have any flamingos ready to go) features a Seaside Shore card that was originally designed by Deb Simonis, but created by my stampers during this month’s Shaker Card Class.  It was a huge hit with all stampers, and a very fun card to create.

Shore is one of the sets that caught my eye when the catalogue was first released in June, and I knew that I had to have both the stamps and the coordinating Seaside Textured Impressions Embossing Folder and the By the Shore Designer Series Paper.  The colours are eyepopping, and the fish are so fun to stamp.
We used the new Foam Adhesive Strips that are the perfect height for adding ‘stuff’ to shaker cards, as well as some sand from the local park (that I forced through a strainer to get rid of the bigger rocks), glitter and sequins.  So much fun!
Remember, if you buy 3 packs of Designer Series Paper in October, you will receive the 4th for free!  This offer doesn’t include specialty DSP, or the DSP paper stacks, but between the Holiday catalogue and the Annual catalogue, it’s really easy to find 4 packs of DSP that you’ll use constantly.  You can place your order directly through me (I’m sending one in tomorrow), or shop online 24/7 to have it shipped directly to you.  Just wait until tomorrow to get your free paper!
