Welcome back to another edition of Fabulous Flamingo Friday, featuring the Fabulous Flamingo stamp set and some wild Melon Mambo ink. I had posted a picture on social media a few weeks back of different colour combinations for the Big Pink Birds, and while almost everyone loved the Flirty Flamingo birds, I do love trying other colours for unique looks.
I dropped this card into the mail earlier this week to one of my Team Flamingo demonstrators. I hope that she likes the card, but… I don’t know if she likes the pink birds. Guess we’ll find out!
The layout of this card is really easy to put together, as long as you stamp the bird and then die cut it with the Layering Ovals Framelits. You need to position the bird so that you’re not cutting off too much of his feathery tail.
A bit of bling on a card never hurt anything, and it just seems appropriate to add a little bit of something extra to this one. One of these days I’m going to Wink of Stella the entire bird, but for today we’ll content ourselves with rhinestones.
