Happy Wednesday! Today’s project is a card stamped with the Every Chapter stamp, coloured with our Stampin’ Blends. It is one of the cards that I made earlier this year, when testing the various methods of colouring this wonderful stamp. Let’s have a look!
Stamping the Every Chapter image is super easy because it’s one large stamp. Colouring takes a bit of time, because you’re going back and forth between colours, while deciding which Blends to use, and where to use them. Drying time is an issue as well because you don’t want the colours to bleed together.
The Stampin’ Blends colours on this card are: Balmy Blue, Mint Macaron, Flirty Flamingo, So Saffron, and Pool Party. To determine the jumping off colours for the card, I pulled a sheet from the Abstract Beauty 4″ x 6″ Specialty Designer Series Paper. The colours of the diamond pattern of the paper work really well behind the coloured image.
Once coloured, I glued the DSP flat to the Mint Macaron card base, and added the stamped image to the top with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Nothing else is needed because of the size of the image.

Looking for some great samples and inspiration from the new catalogue? Look no further than our Facebook Spring Spectacular! Join the group, sit back and enjoy. Not able to make it to the live event on May 26th? All items will remain posted in the group so that you can go back to check it all out at your convenience.
Thanks for stopping by today. Every Chapter is a fun stamp set to colour with Stampin’ Blends, and will be one of those stamps that I keep after the catalogue products have been retired. I may cut the words out of it, to increase its versatility, but I still haven’t made a decision on this. If I do cut out the words,, I’ll post a finished project. I’m trying to get caught up on all things stamping & house related, so it may be a bit before I get to this. In the meantime, if you have questions or need assistance with any stamping, or papercrafting products or techniques. Call/text me at 289-928-5713 or send an email to wendy@wendyslittleinklings.com and I’ll get back to you as soon as I can. Until later, Happy Stamping!
