Happy first day of spring!!! Only 11 days left in this year’s Sale-a-Bration promotion before stamps, and paper enter the SAB vault. If you have a teenager in the house, you will want to make sure that you have this one in your stamp collection. Epic Celebrations has three great images for teens, along with sentiments that fit the bill for most cards. Today’s card is really easy, and CASE’d from one created by Candy Ford.
How easy is it? It’s ridiculously easy and fast to stamp, cut, and assemble. Sometimes those teens of ours come downstairs 30 seconds before they’re running out the door, asking for a card. You can run downstairs, make this puppy in about 5 minutes flat, and send them out the door with a handmade card. Ask me how I know…
The front panel of this card is stamped in a relatively random pattern. I say random because I didn’t measure everything out. Did you see that part above where I said you can make this in 5 minutes? If you measure, it will take 10-15. Anyhow, you can replicate this card design for many, many stamps because you’re stamping the outline of the images, but only colouring one. The focal image will then take centre stage on the card, along with the sentiment. Nothing on this card is popped up with dimensionals; everything has been glued flat.
