Good morning stampers! It’s damp and humid out there, which isn’t really good for paper, but is good for my garden. Today’s treat holders won’t be affected by the humidity, because the peppermint patties that are inside are wrapped in foil. These easy to make treat holders were created with the Scalloped Tag Topper punch, and were available for my Open House guests to take home. See below for details!
Birthday Backgrounds is a versatile stamp set that shouldn’t be limited to birthday projects. I miss the old background stamp sets (remember Itty Bitty Backgrounds?), so this is a welcome addition to the catalogue.
Each treat holder was made with a 6″x 2″ piece of cardstock, scored and folded at 2-3/4″ and 3-1/4″. I punched the ends after the paper was scored. The York Peppermint Patty inside was attached using a Glue Dot. I needed a small sentiment that wouldn’t overwhelm the treat holder, and turned to the Bubble Over stamp set. The ‘thank you’ sentiment is the perfect size. A bit of white baker’s twine seals the holder, making it easy to pick up, take with you, or open right away.
