It’s World Cardmaking Day on Saturday. Have you seen the items on sale this week? I like the Delightfully Detailed Note Cards and Envelopes, because they make pretty thank you and birthday cards. Today’s card is one that I made months ago at OnStage, but never posted on the blog. Today seems like the perfect day to do so!
The card base uses one of the Delightfully Detailed Note Cards. Each pack has 20 colour-washed cards, 5 each of 4 designs. Mint Macaron and Blackberry Bliss, 2 very popular colours, have been “washed” onto the cardstock. 20 Very Vanilla envelopes are included in the pack. They are smaller than our regular cards, but large enough to go into the mail. Canada Post won’t return them to you! Best of all, they are 10% off this week!
Today’s card is easy to make because the card base is already printed. A piece of the Delightfully Detailed Laser-Cut Specialty Paper has been glued on top, with 2 pieces of Grapefruit Grove cardstock and a small sliver of the fun 5/8″ Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon.
Blackberry Bliss ink and the Happy Birthday stamp from the Detailed with Love stamp set provide us with the sentiment on the Very Vanilla cardstock, and the corners were punched with the Detailed Trio Punch. Have you tried this one out? It makes punching corners a breeze, and has a tab for tags!
