Hi Stampers! Today I’m sharing a Daisy Lane card that I recently created for a card swap. This card is different than most because it doesn’t use one of the two main daisy images. Instead, I focused on the fern image in the set.
I received this set at OnStage, and although I do like the daisy images, because they are more detailed than those in Daisy Delight, I fell in love with the fern leaf. You can use on SO many projects from cards to scrapbooking.
When stamping this card, I originally stamped it in Pear Pizzazz with full strength ink, but it was too overpowering. Instead, I stamped the ink off before stamping onto the cardstock. The flowers on the die cut were stamped at full strength using Rich Razzleberry ink.
A couple of additional notes about this project… The Rich Razzleberry cardstock was embossed with the Subtles 3D folder to give it a bit of texture. The sentiment and mat were die cut with the Stitched Nested Labels dies. The “stitching” around the edge is part of the die, and appears when the paper is cut. A bow made of the 3/16″ Braided Linen Thread.
*Tip* All of our dies are being manufactured by a different company, and are a tad thinner than the old ones. If you are having difficulties getting a clean die cut the first time you run the die through your machine, add a couple of pieces of copy paper under the bottom plate as a shim.
