Good Afternoon Stampers! It’s another busy summer day in the Fee household, and I completely forgot to post today’s card! It is rather cute, so and this cute rhinoceros from Animal Outing needed to have his day.
We were talking about Stampin’ Up!’s thick Whisper White cardstock this morning at my embossing class. I rarely pull it out, and my clients use it all the time. After picking up this card, I remember why I love it too – it has a great weight to it. Our regular Whisper White cardstock is really, really good for stamping, because it has a sheen to it that works well with stamps and ink. The thick version ensures that your card stands up without flopping, and works tremendously well with our Stampin’ Blends Markers. If you haven’t tried it, add it to your wishlist – it is a “must have”.
Stampin’ Blends were used to colour the rhino, and Stampin’ Write Markers were used on his bird-friend. I carried the same colours from the bird onto the slivers of cardstock at the top of the card to help anchor the sentiment flag. Animal Outing has other fun critters to colour as well, and coordinating Thinlits to cut them all out!
