Throwback Thursdays: A cute birdbath from For the Birds

Good morning stampers!  Although, I’ve been cleaning the nest this morning, so it is getting close to noon!  It’s hard to rein in all of the golden retriever fur in this house, so cleaning *should* be a constant task.  Luckily my family is good with fur all over the floor, so it doesn’t get vacuumed quite as often as it should.  I’d rather be stamping!  Speaking of which, today’s Throwback Thursday card has a cute birdbath from the For the Birds stamp set.

Wendy's Little Inklings: Throwback Thursdays: A cute birdbath from For the Birds

It was really windy yesterday, and I was thinking of the local bird population.  It’s been so cold, that the robins have only just started to show themselves in the neighbourhood.  Nests would not have survived yesterday’s wind.  I’m not sure my roof did.  There is one shingle on the ground, that I can see through the window, but after I’m finishing this post I’m going out with the golden retriever for a walk.  I’ll have a good look then.

This card has been kicking around my box o’ cards for quite some time.  Can you identify the colour on ribbon?  That’s Raspberry Ripple, which was around 5 years ago.  5 YEARS!!!  The Designer Series Paper is from our retired colour family multi-packs, which were fantastic because if you needed paper to match your project, you always had something on hand.  The stamped image on the card was coloured using Blender Pens, while the birds on the handmade envelope (Envelope Punch Board!!), were coloured with Stampin’ Write Markers.

If you love this card, but don’t have the stamp set, why not try Flying Home or Bird Banter from the Occasions catalogue?  Both have very cute images that are perfect for colouring.  Try them with our Stampin’ Write markers or your Blender Pens.  Once the Stampin’ Blends are back in stock, definitely try them with these images.

We will be going back to Card Swap Thursdays next week because I have a pile of cards to swap with fellow demonstrators this weekend.  I’m sure that I’ll receive some wonderful cards to share with you.  I’ll also share photos of the projects that we create this weekend with NEW CATALOGUE PRODUCT!!!  I’m so excited to see what will be in the 2018-2019 Annual Catalogue.  SO excited!

In the meantime, are you looking to Shop Online?  If your purchase is over $50, be sure to add the April Host Code 6DHZ4VCP to receive free Project Helper Guides at the end of the month!Wendy's Little Inklings: April Host Code (6DHZ4VCP)
