Back when we were young, we were always taught to carry scissors by covering the closed blades with our palms before walking. That way the person who we were handing them to would be taking the handle, and if we happened to fall, we wouldn’t drive the scissors into a body part. If they still teach this in school (and I’m sure they do), then none of my children were paying attention because none of them do this. They also run with scissors!! It’s a good thing these are virtual scissors, and not real ones. Otherwise I think that we would all be in trouble.
Today’s Crafting Forever card has been CASE’d from Pinterest, but because it was an OnStage display card, I can’t seem to find the name of the demonstrator who created it. Trust me, I tried. It’s cute, so I thought that I would recreate it and have it on hand for when I need a card for someone who sews.
We’re back with the Berry Bliss cardstock, which I keep telling you that I love, paired with Basic Black cardstock and Silver Glimmer Paper. Doesn’t that look sharp? It’s a great combination, and I really like the shine. If you’re really ambitious, you could stamp the scissors onto our Silver Foil Sheets, dry it, cut it, and add it to the card.
