As you know, we rotate a set of 10 ink & cardstock colours, 5 at a time, every two years. While we are sad to see the five 2015-2017 colours disappear, seeing and using the new In Colors (and no, this isn’t a typo) is a refreshing change. To help alleviate colour confusion, I created this cardstock chart.
So, how do the 2017-2019 In Colors stack up against the others? Well, you can see them in digital form with colour challenges online, and they are laid out really well in the new catalogue (mark page 183 for extra attention when you receive your catalogue) but after I created the hard copy of the cardstock chart, I stuck it on my wall for easy reference.
Powder Pink is slightly different from the other two light pinks that we currently offer (and it will look good on flamingos!), and the Lemon Lime Twist will look absolutely stunning when paired with black cardstock. Tranquil Tide is the closest colour that we have had to a hunter green in a long time, and the Berry Burst is a gorgeous colour. Fresh Fig is a fabulous addition, and looks great as part of a monochromatic combination.
None of these new colours will be available for purchase until June 1, but you will want them as part of your first order – they are that amazing!
