I have been messing around with inks of late after becoming inspired by some backgrounds found on Pinterest (that evil, evil website!) In each case, I created a colour-blended tag using a set of inks, and then created a simpler card to demonstrate how they can be used together on an everyday, less labour-intensive card.
Today’s card uses four main colours, and is the simpler version of the one that will be posted tomorrow. The stamps used on the card card from the Touches of Texture set (love, love, love!) and the Tin of Cards set. Colours used are Tangerine Tangelo, Pumpkin Pie, Crushed Curry, and Daffodil Delight with the sentiment stamped using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink. Some Gold Metallic thread was wrapped around the front face of the card, and then a bow was tied on to the front to gather the threads together.
Don’t forget, all the cards featured on my blog can be found in my Gallery. It makes them easy to find!
The less-simple version of the card will post on Monday. Come back and have a look! Until then, happy stamping.
