One of my absolute favourite New Product Suites is the Color Theory Suite. Any stamp set that has pretty paper, with images and die cuts that work through all four seasons, is a Must Have in my book. Today’s card reminds me of lazy cottage days on the beach or by the water. Not every Ontario cottage has a beach, but there are an awful lot that have colourful Muskoka chairs dotting the horizon. When I was originally designing this card, I had wanted to put three chairs side by side, but, since this card is featured in one of May’s Project Helper Guides, I needed to keep it to the regular 5-1/2″ x 4-1/4″ dimensions, and the chairs didn’t all fit!
Don’t you love the background? It’s one of the ombre sheets of paper in the Color Theory DSP Stack. No ink required to create this beautiful background.
One small tip… the spaces between the slats on the chair make it difficult to attach adhesive to the back without the adhesive being seen. Stampin’ Dimensionals were used behind the chair, and it was easier to cut them in pieces while still on the backing sheet before gluing the chair to the card.
