Good morning stamping friends! Since I’m Canadian, and we’re always talking about the weather, it seems fitting that I start every blog post with the daily update. Things change so fast at this time of year, that it could be really warm one day and freezing the next. Or, it could happen all in one day! With a forecasted high of 9C today, and -11C overnight with snow, today will be one of those days where people’s bones ache. A perfect day for iced coffee! Seriously, Roxanne Hendrie’s Coffee Cafe with a Friend card has an iced coffee on it, but you could easily swap lids to make it a hot beverage.
Roxanne added a couple of elements that makes this card different from others that have popped up online. The background piece has been embossed, but she glued it so that the debossed side is up, making it look like a true brick wall with the indented mortar.
The card also has a lid made of vellum, which mimics those that you see on iced coffees in the summer (winter?) months. A single glue dot holds it on, but unless you’re looking for it, you don’t see it. All of the coffee pieces have been die cut using the Coffee Cups Framelits. Save 10% when you order the bundle instead of the stamps/framelits separately.
