Coffee Cafe Shaker Card with Mini Coffee Beans

When I first opened my catalogue, I immediately fell in love with the Coffee Cafe Bundle.  Probably because I love coffee.  LOVE coffee.  It has been sitting on my shelf until this past weekend, when I pulled it down to play – after I had fun with the flamingos of course.  One of my clients recently showed me a shaker card that she created using tiny coffee beans, which led to the Coffee Cafe shaker card.

Wendy's Little Inklings: Coffee Cafe Shaker Card

The Foam Adhesive Strips made this an incredible easy shaker card to create, because they are so flexible and wind around the oval extremely well.  The beans are *almost* too big to fit inside, so I made a conscious effort not to squish the foam too hard, because I didn’t want them to get stuck.  I wasn’t all that worried though because they are big enough that they won’t fall out the way sequins or glitter will.

So, what did I use?
