Good morning stampers! Today’s card features a close-up view of the Lasting Lily images, and the image detail is unbelievable!
The stamps in this set are Distinktive stamps, which means that you can get a lot of depth from only one stamp, and without going through the two-step stamping process. It is a Sale-a-Bration freebie, which you can earn with a $120 purchase (before tax/shipping).
*Tip* To get a really good image, make sure that you’re using an ink pad that isn’t too juicy for your stamping. Using a drier ink pad is better, or you can brayer/sponge the ink right onto the stamp.
If you think that you have seen this card before, you’re probably right because it’s a direct CASE from page 18 of the Sale-a-Bration catalogue. I like the layout, and wanted to see how easy it would be to recreate. There is fussy-cutting, and I would probably rate this an intermediate level card to create. Here’s a close-up view of the images:
Look at the detail on those blooms! These were inked with Powder Pink, and I added a bit of Calypso Coral ink around the edges with a Sponge Dauber. All stems and leaves were stamped in Old Olive.
