Good morning stampers! It’s an unpleasant day today, with rain and cool temps (where is spring !?!), which makes it a good day to hibernate. The pooch has been walked, and while we were out, she met up with a fellow golden retriever who is her “best friend”. They rolled around in the wet grass, leaves and dirt, and I brought home a very messy dog! She’s now napping after her big walk/play, and I can blog in peace. It is Card Swap Thursday, and today’s card features one stamp from the Pieces & Patterns stamp set, along with the coordinating Pick a Pattern Designer Series Paper.
Today’s card was received from Leigh Silver at last weekend’s OnStage event. She used a fun card fold, that would appeal to kids. They love things that move, or are a little different, so adding the sentiment to a piece of cardstock that holds the card closed, is kind of funky.
Isn’t this fun? The card base is one quarter of a pieces of cardstock, and the Whisper White piece is scored, folded in half, and opens upwards. A piece of Flirty Flamingo cardstock, when folded over, holds the card closed. Great fun for kids.
The Pieces & Patterns stamp set is on our Last Chance list, and will be retiring on May 31st. The Pick a Pattern DSP is on the list as well, but only while quantities last. We are fortunate as all stamp sets are guaranteed to be available until May 25th, however everything else (except for ink pads and ink refills) are first come, first served.
