Our colour combination last week lent itself admirably to a dude card, but it also works really well on this birthday card. When I first blended these colours together I thought it had a peacock feel to it, but another who saw the tag felt it had a galaxy feel to it. After contemplating the colours, I opted to use one of the stars and the sentiment in my Better Together stamp set to create this card.
Gold Metallic thread and gold embossing powder give the sparkle of the galaxy, and the background colours of Pacific Point, Emerald Envy and Early Espresso provide the dark and light of the space. A small tassel was created as an alternative to the traditional ribbon that you find at the top of a tag. A different card, but I love the deep look of it.
