Good morning stampers! The sun is trying to come out today, and I’m trying to encourage it with a light Abstract Impressions Thank You card. I’m hoping that the bright colours give it a push to make an appearance. It’s been a very dark November, and I think that everyone could use a hit of sunshine.
Today’s card was received in a team card swap, and was created by Moira Sands. It’s clear that she used the Garden Impressions Designer Series Paper as her starting point for this card. The colour scheme of Blushing Bride, Night of Navy, and Calypso Coral work tremendously well with the stamped floral image. The photo below shows just how well they coordinate.
I like that there are a ton of layers on this card, but no embellishments. Why? It can be difficult to have embellishments for every style of card in your collection, and this one shows that you don’t have to use them to make the card work. Between the popped up layers and embossed cardstock, there is a lot going on, and adding embellishments may put it over the top. Here’s a close-up of the layers and embossing.

Thanks for stopping by today. My schedule for just about everything has been thrown off since my car accident on November 11th. For those of you that have heard the tale, all tests, including my MRI, have come back normal. It’s been a challenging month to this point, with no real end in sight. I REALLY appreciate my friends, family and stamping clients. As always, If you have questions about today’s Abstract Impressions Thank You card or any other items, please send a quick email and I’ll get back to you ASAP.
