Hello stampers! It’s Card Swap Thursday, and today I have a card created with the A Little Lace stamp set. Isn’t it pretty?
Kim Stathakos created this card for a new catalogue swap. It’s unusual in that there isn’t any white or vanilla cardstock on the card. Instead, Crumb Cake forms the base for stamping.
To create this card, die cut two rectangles with the Stitched Rectangles dies and one oval from the Stitched Shapes dies. Layer them together in the pattern that you want, and then stamp all three at the same time. You may want to add a touch of adhesive to the back to make sure that they don’t move before you stamp them!
Kim also used her Corrugated 3D embossing folder to create the embossed background. If you like the look of corrugated cardboard, you’ll find that it works really well for this. She also used the new Seaside Spray Stampin’ Blends to add a bit of colour to the flowers.
After adhering all of the layers together, Kim added some of the 2019-2021 In Color Faceted Dots. These are one of my favourite new embellishments in the catalogue. Photos do not do them justice because you can’t see that the facets are shiny.
The full supply list can be found below. Order any stamping supplies that you need for this project by clicking on the links. You can also directly to my Online Store. If you order is over $25, add the July Host Code (CCKHEC6W) to receive a free Tutorial Bundle at the end of the month. If your order is over $200, choose the Stampin’ Rewards instead of adding the Host Code. I’ll send you the Bundle! See full details HERE.
