One of the stamps sets that I was drawn to in the Sale-a-Bration catalogue is the Epic Celebrations set. If you have teenaged boys, then you’ll understand why. My eldest son’s 18th birthday is in less than a month, and I know that I’l be using this set to create his birthday card.
I cannot take credit for this card, as it was a make & take card at Jenn Tinline’s Christmas party. She was gracious enough to send one to me in the mail, and I have to say that I love the card.
Colouring the guitar in using Stampin’ Blends gives a really deep colour, and the combination of Smoky Slate and Bermuda Bay is perfect for male cards. Adding a strip of Bubbles & Fizz Designer Series Paper (earn this for free as part of Sale-a-Bration!) to help anchor the image on the card.
Change this card up a bit, and you can give it to the man in your life that loves music. Or, change the image to suit your teenager. Anyone that has met my middle child knows that the headphones graphic is perfect!
