Feel the warmth of Snowflake Sentiments

Pretty snowflake cards are always lovely to send, and wonderful to receive.  I have a special place in my heart for snowflakes, and love the blue/silver colour scheme that you often find them a part of.  Today’s Snowflake Sentiments Card was created by a fellow demonstrator, Krista Hogenboom.  She has combined several elements to create an elegant holiday card that is perfect for this time of year.

Krista’s colour scheme is simple, as the main colours on this card are Tranquil Tide and Smoky Slate, with a bit of silver mixed in.  I love how she created a watercolour panel that was embossed with white snowflakes.  It’s the perfect element for the front of the project.

Another element that helps to tie the project together is the piece of Tranqil Tide cardstock that was embossed twice with the Winter Wonder embossing folder.  I love how she placed the cardstock with the raised embossed side down, giving it a muted effect.

This post will be a tad shorter than usual, and I’m not going to list the supplies that Krista used to create this Snowflake Sentiments Card.  Why?  Because I’m (surprise, surprise) at the arena, working on my iPad. I find it more difficult to link things without a mouse, so I try not to blog without one.  Until tomorrow, Happy Stamping!
