Earlier this week I posted a thank you card that used the Elegant Butterfly Punch. Today’s card uses its sister, the Bitty Butterfly Punch, and the Endless Thanks stamp set, both of which are retiring in… gulp… 6 days. I make a lot of thank you cards for clients, and I love cards that are easy and fast to create. This one fits the bill!
Endless Thanks is a great stamp for thank you cards because the stamps in the set mix and match to create the ideal sentiment for your card. I have stuck with the simple “thank you” because it fits the space perfectly.
Here’s the secret to this card: I took a strip of card stock that was larger than what I needed, and punched the butterflies using the Bitty Butterfly punch. I then die cut three scalloped squares using the Layering Squares Framelits. Why did I do the punching first? So that I could squarely position the die over the punched image. Slick eh? Why make your stamping more complicated, and risk frustration by being too fiddly. This is just an easy and effective way to achieve the look.
Squares from the In Color Designer Series Paper Stack was layered underneath the punched images, and the two were stuck together using Stampin’ Dimensionals to give the card some pop. A few 2016-2018 In Colour Enamel Shapes were added to finish off the card. Too cute.
