We were playing with new stamps from the 2017 Annual Catalogue at last week’s classes, including the very pretty Tranquil Tulips set. This card has been CASEd from one originally created by Mary Fish, and I loved both the simplicity and elegance of the card. It was popular with the ladies, and very easy to stamp.
Two-Step Photopolymer stamps makes this card easy to stamp because you can line up the details easily overtop of the larger base image. Still confused? Two-Step stamps have two images – a larger image that is the base image, and a smaller stamp that is more detailed that can be stamped on top. Sometimes it’s nice to use one or the other on its own, because they can make good background stamps, but in this instance I love the two stamps together.
Before I move on, I have to mention the ribbon, because the 3/8″ Mini Chevron Ribbon feels so luxurious under your fingers, and it’s easy to tie into bows and knots. Love it!
A quick note about this pretty Tranquil Tulips stamp set. It is a host set, so it can only be purchased by those that have hosted a workshop with $200+ in sales, or through a customer order where the purchase is over $200 before tax/shipping. If you would like this set, we need to chat. Call me, message me, text me, email me… whatever works.
So, what did we use?
