We’re in the heart of the summer, and there’s nothing more relaxing than heading outdoors to sit in a comfy Muskoka chair with a book. I have three on my porch, and I love stacking the cushions all around me while I munch on outdoor snacks. The Colorful Seasons Muskoka chair has been extremely popular this summer with my online and in-person stampers. Everyone loves the die! Now, for those of you that are confused because you call it an Andirondack chair, they are the same thing, but Ontario has a huge cottage country called Muskoka and everyone here identifies with that.
Today’s card was CASEd from one that I saw at OnStage, created by Artisan stamper Cathy Caines. We created it at a past stamp class, and everyone loved it because it’s SO easy to create, and lovely to look at. The toughest part of its creation was adhering the chair to the card, because I love the look when it’s popped up. Guess what came to the rescue… Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals. Have you seen these yet? They are smaller than regular Dimensionals, and when you cut them in half, they fit on the back of the die. Simply superb.
So, what did I use?
*Note* You can order the Colorful Seasons Bundle to get both the stamps and dies at a 10% discount (145348, $69.25). I can’t imagine not wanting both, as they work SO well together.
