Lovely as a Tree has been in our catalogue for over 15 years, and with good reason. It is an incredibly versatile stamp set, and the images have aged well so it looks as current now as it did when it was originally released. The same cannot be said for most stamp sets, because as consumer tastes change, so do the images/fonts. This French Lovely as a Tree card is a wonderful example of an easy layout that is very pleasing to the eye.
I received this card from Nancy Gauthier, a demonstrator in Quebec in a card swap earlier this year. The French stamp set has been retired, as well as the Mint Macaron card stock (so sad!) strip on the right side of the card. However, the layout itself can be repeated using a different set of colours, with a different sentiment – which is key because you can use whatever colours you want and your own creativity to create something uniquely you.
*Tip* Colour our Basic Pearls with Sharpie markers if you need a different colour of embellishment on your project.
