It’s Card Swap Thursday, and today I have a pretty Wood Words Friendship Card that was created by Selina Merali, a fellow Canadian demonstrator. She has used delicate Powder Pink ink to create a pretty card that you can give to any friend to let them know that you’re thinking of them.
Powder Pink combines very nicely with Crumb Cake, and Selina has added some of the fabulous Wood Textures Designer Series Paper and 1/4″ Copper Trim to finish the card. I really like how she combined two circles to create the soft edge of the popped up circle behind the rooster. One last note about the card – glue from the Fine-Tip Glue Pen has been spread all over the rooster, to give it a nice, raised sheen.
This would be a good card to pop into the mail as a Random Act of Kindness. I have a few friends that I haven’t connected with in a few months, so I may pop this one into the mail to let one of them know that I’m thinking of them.
