My apologies for missing Flamingo Friday last week. I had the absolute best intentions, taking both my iPad and WordPress login info with me to Vegas, and spending time with the flamingos in their Habitat at the Flamingo resort. But, it’s Vegas, and I’m sure that you know that even the best laid plans get pushed aside for slot machines that feature clownfish, elephants, buffalo and that screaming eagle that my husband swears is out to get him. I’m back though, and I’m Tickled Pink for You! I really like this card. It’s fun 🙂
I’m going to save my flamingo photos for another week, but I have a bunch. I sat there on Sunday morning with my coffee, pondering their colours and specific colour schemes to use on cards. I’d say that I’m pathetic, but us demonstrators often look at clothing, home decor, and plants, comparing them to our colours and mapping them out for cards. This card is a solid Flirty Flamingo card, and although I still have another 8 months of this colour before it retires, I know that I’m going to have to stockpile card stock because I LOVE it for flamingos.

So, what did I use on this gorgeous bird-themed card?
Yesterday it was snowmen, and today it’s snowflakes, accompanied by lots of sunshine…
