While moving mulch last week, I was gratified to see that my perennial daisies were all up and ready to face the world. Now, seeing as how I have Shasta Daisies and Black Eyed Susans in my garden, I can honestly say that they won’t look like the daisies on this card, but that’s the magic of daisies – they come in all different colours!
Daisy Delight has great potential for all types of cards because the images in the set coordinate well with each other, and with many different types of sentiments. For this card, I have pulled the sentiment from the Birthday Banners set, and it fits the overall feeling of the card so well.
These diagonal cards are so trendy right now. You have seen the design on some of my recent cards, and I used it again for this one because it provides a great spot for a focal point. The empty space between the two pieces of Delightful Daisy Designer Series Paper is the perfect spot for a sentiment.
Speaking of DSP, the piece used on this card is 4″x4″, cut on the diagonal. So, if you have a piece of 12×12 paper, you can get 9 pieces out of the sheet with no waste! Love it!
As of today, the Daisy punch is not available for order as the demand for it has greatly exceeded expectations. Stampin’ Up! expects some to be in stock on June 24, and additional punches will arrive in July. If this is on your wishlist, I ask for your patience, and assure you that you will be able to order it.
So, what did I use?
