morning afternoon my stamping friends! I’m sleepy today, so it’s taken a bit of time to become productive, but I’m back on track for the afternoon. Today’s project features the Wood Words stamp set, and the coordinating Wood Crate Framelits.
The Wood Crate Framelits are easy to work with, because they cut and score all at once. You need to cut the larger framelit twice, to get the full crate, but once you have these cut it’s so easy to put the crate together. These were die cut from card stock, and then stamped using the hardwood stamp. One piece of advice… use strong adhesive when constructing the crates because you don’t want them to fall apart. Stampin’ Up!’s Tear and Tape Adhesive is perfect for this task.
Each of the cards uses stamps from the Wood Words set. I love how quickly these come together, and when they are all packaged up, they are a wonderful gift for a hostess. I gave these away at my Open House to anyone that brought a friend who had never stamped here before.
The stamps and framelits can be bought separately, but they are also available as a bundle at 10% off the cost of purchasing them separately. A good option if you love them both.
So, what did I use?
*Note* The Wood Words Bundle is 10% off the price of buying the stamps and framelits separately. The wood mount bundle is $72 (145315) and the clear mount bundle is $62 (145316)

It’s Monday, and it’s time to get back at it! I have been procrastinating this morning, simply because I’m tired, but I need to get ahead of the game because this week is mulch week, and after the 7 yards of mulch hits my driveway later this week, I won’t have the time or energy for much else!
